While Valley of Peace ministers to persons of all ages, we place a priority on nurturing the Christian faith among children and youth. This ministry includes Sunday School, Confirmation, Vacation Bible Camp and Camp Perkins.
Confirmation
In Confirmation, our youth study the Christian faith and affirm that faith publicly. Confirmation class teaches from Luther’s Small Catechism.
Sunday School
Sunday School provides an opportunity to build Biblical knowledge and to know Jesus Christ. Classes are available for all ages, kindergarten through adult.
Children age 4 through 5th grade participate in a one-week half day camp. Our Bible Camp is led by counselors from Camp Perkins and volunteers from Valley of Peace. Activities include Bible Stories, songs, crafts and games. It is normally held in early June. Contact the church for details.
Vacation Bible Camp for 2023 will be June 19 - 23. Call 208-720-7104 to reserve your space.
Camp Perkins provides a Christ-centered outdoor experience for children from third grade through high school. The camp is located in the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley, Idaho.
