Welcome to Valley of Peace Lutheran Church

Visitors to Valley of Peace Lutheran Church should expect a warm welcome to a small congregation of people who love Jesus Christ. From a warm handshake at the door to the closing benediction you will find the worship service Christ-focused and Bible-based. Holy Communion is celebrated twice a month on the first and third Sundays.

Lutheran churches vary in the degree of formality and use of liturgy. Valley of Peace is relatively informal, while still incorporating traditional elements like confession, Apostles Creed, Lord’s Prayer, sermon and benediction. The service includes congregational singing, with music ranging from traditional hymns with keyboard accompaniment to contemporary praise songs with either keyboard or guitar.
